By joining the SteelZero initiative, the company is committing to sourcing 100% net-zero steel by 2050 and aligning its operations with global climate targets.

American Katerra LLC: Leading the Way from Texas

In line with this commitment, American Katerra LLC, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Yamaguchi Heavy Industries, will spearhead the company’s North American strategy. Based in San Antonio, Texas, American Katerra will work closely with SteelZero stakeholders, industry partners, and local governments to bring low-carbon, responsibly sourced steel to the U.S. market.
