Our journey to San Antonio began with our participation in the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center’s Texas Hands-on Program, a strategic initiative designed to support Tokyo-based SMEs in expanding to Texas. This program, built on a memorandum of understanding between Tokyo and Texas, connects businesses with local support organizations, communities, and experts to facilitate market entry. Through this program, we were introduced to greater:SATX, whose expertise and resources became instrumental in our U.S. launch.

The Texas Hands-on Program offered critical support, including market research, strategic planning, and access to local networks, such as greater:SATX’s International Business Development Center (IBDC). This introduction enabled productive discussions with greater:SATX, who guided us in identifying San Antonio as the ideal location for our operations. Their support included insights into the local market, connections to key stakeholders, and assistance in navigating the complexities of U.S. market entry.
